The more we will get frustrated. Why ? Because life is always sarcastically reminding us how little control we actually have. Therefore always trying to live a life defined by us does not mean that it will occur and happen by our effort. If that’s the case, we won’t be achieving much that is worthwhile in this life. One should be consistent and discipline with one’s efforts and one should definitely have a certain passion for that particular endeavor to be able to sustain through trials and tribulations.īut how much is too much? The more we try to control. One other thing is that it does not make life very enjoyable. I am not saying that one should be idle, be lazy and that everything that one does should be pleasurable. There are a lot of side effects that come with exerting such consuming effort. Stress, sickness, frustration, self-consciousness, depression, if you’re an athlete injuries, etc, etc. However, I hope we can all benefit from it, each in our own way. We are all guilty to a certain degree of being control freaks.īy that, we expect a certain outcome and do our best to bend the reality, our will, even the world to fit the image of the world we hold so dearly in our vision.Īnd guess what? I think most of you will be able to relate and feel the sting of it. It’s unbelievably tiring and frustrating. But don’t get me wrong, you can get your desired outcome by pushing, bending and sheer willpower. I write this article for selfish reasons. I write to help resonate with this concept. Is this small change subtle or what? Yet it carries more significance than it might appear.
